Illness
Illnesses:
In an effort to promote a safe and healthy environment for our swimmers, coaches and other facility users, we ask that parents be mindful of and monitor for symptoms of illness in their swimmers ahead of each practice.
If your swimmer is displaying any symptoms of illness, including (but not limited to) cough, runny nose, sore throat, fever, upset stomach, dizziness or headache please keep them at home until symptoms have resolved.
If your swimmer has experienced vomiting or diarrhea, they must not return to swimming until a minimum of 48 hours have passed from the last occurrence. Swimmers experiencing highly communicable infections should seek additional guidance from their health care provider before returning to the pool.
Swimmers who arrive at the pool with symptoms of illness will not be permitted to practice, and parents will be asked to collect their child(ren) immediately. Swimmers may be asked to wear a non-medical mask at the Head Coach / supervising Coach's discretion while they wait.
Missed classes / practices due to illness will not be refunded, and make up Swim Academy classes are not possible.
Please contact our Head Coach or Board of Directors if you have questions regarding illness among swimmers.
