Photo Consent Waiver

The Highwood Current Swim Club may take photographs or videos of our swimmers throughout the season, during practices, competitions, and club activities. 

These images may be used on our website, social media, or in local news media in order to support and / or promote our programs, as well as to celebrate the accomplishments of our members. 

The Highwood Current Swim Club respects parent / guardian choice to limit or decline the use of their child(ren)'s image in the interest of privacy. Please indicate via this form if you wish to OPT OUT of consent for images. 

Parent who wish to specify where their child(ren)'s image may be used (such as website, social media, or news media) must email the Head Coach at highwoodcurrent.headcoach@gmail.com to inform us of your choices. 

Families who do not OPT OUT via this form, or contact the Head Coach to confirm limitations will be understood to have provided consent to the club to use their child(ren)'s image on our website, social media and in local news media. 

Please note - our coaching team may also take individual videos to provide technical feedback to our swimmers during practice or in competition settings. Images captured for these purposes will NOT be shared publicly and will only be available to the Coach and athlete for use within the training context. Video will only be captured during open and observable spaces. If parents / swimmers have questions regarding this, please reach out to the Head Coach. 

You may choose to Accept or Opt Out of the Photo Consent policy at any time - contact Coach Cara. 

Please note: Spectator photography is NOT permitted during practices. This is a Town of High River policy that is strictly enforced. Please be respectful of this facility rule, and refrain from taking photos or videos of your swimmer / their team while within the facility.
